Why do we play d2?
There are so many users on battlenet nowadays.
The ladder keeps on going for an incredibly long time. Due to this we face enourmous lags and jbs, which disturbs our playing. We keep on complaining about this, we curse battlenet, we lose our nerves on this game, but somehow we keep on playing that. Why does it happen?
I tried to answer this question and it is really hard to me. I wonder if it is an addictive influence of d2 on me and other players? I think not, because I lost my touch to make baalruns, just to get a higher lvl… I am also not compelled by trading in order to gain more and more, because i reached my needs and what is more he trade sems dead now ( dupers etc ). So why am I still coming back? I am angry at myself because I should do more interesting things.
I figured out that it is all the people why I come here. If it were not for you, I would surely give all the things free and get the f… out. We are creating this uniqe atmosphere, we are thise who make this game interesting. The most important thing is to talk, to laugh, to enjoy this stupid, monotonius game togeter. We all met a lot of interesting players here from all around Europe and ever further. We can exchange thoughts, jokes - that is what keeps us going. Not a silly lvl to have. Not a fancy item to wear. The people u are around with makes you the man (woman :P ).
I would like to dedicate this article to all my friends and people I talk with for the power to stay in. I hope that as a channel community we will create the best atmosphere possible and develop this game further and put it to the next level.

OMG !!
you are right :>
just a huge chat, where you can also play a game named “diablo 2 lord of destruction”
Nice thoughts of a really nice person
As many of my friends have noticed, I too like to talk as well XD.
I still really like the level (less than most of you though, it seems,) and the feeling I “gain” some stupid things in the gaming proccess. :P
But what I really like now is my friends and the opportunity to play, learn, try and have fun (and relax) on bnet - not only in d2 proper as some ops probably have noticed.
-Still, IMO there IS a huge addiction factor here… And not all is good in staying. Believe me I know.
Also, be carefull. The fact that you stay even while feeling so, may (but not must) be a sign of a strong addiction.
yu are really right :S
