Ein paar kleine Tips für unsere neuen Channelbesucher.
Some tips for new channel users.
Kilka wskazówek dla nowych użytkowników kanałów.

• Wenn Du zum ersten mal in einen “operated” Channel kommst, versuch cool zu sein und ein Gefühl für den Channel zu bekommen bevor Du voll loslegst. Sollte Dir die Atmospähre dort nicht gefallen, versuch einen anderen Channel - wir haben einige.

• Wenn Du Fragen hast, frag ! Aber der Ton macht die Musik. Die meisten Leute im Channel freuen sich aber über “Newbies” und helfen auch gerne. Mit Deutsch, Polnisch oder Englisch kommt man in unseren Channeln fast immer weiter. Aber es sind praktische alle europäischen Sprachen vertreten. Vermeide bitte Fragen wie “Was kostet XXX” .

• Ein bischen Respekt gegenüber anderen ist angebracht. Du wirst feststellen das im Channel viele verschieden Menschen sind im Alter von 16 bis 70, Schimpfwörter können sicherlich mal fallen, aber auf Dauer ist es nervig und nicht hilfreich wenn Du öfter in den Channel willst.

• Denk auch daran, daß Du nicht ganz so anonym bist wie Du denkst - in einem Chat werden Gespräche mitgeschnitten und teilweise über Wochen aufgehoben. Also geh vorsichtig mit Angaben über Dich vor.

• Alles in Grossbuchstaben zu schreiben ist keine gute Idee, da viele dies als “Brüllen” verstehen.

• Wenn im Channel mal jemand ist, der Dich beleidigt oder den “Channel-Frieden” stört, lass dich nicht provozieren. Am besten informierst Du in diesem Fall einen Admin or Op der dann entsprechende Massnahmen ergreifen kannen (verwarnen,bannen).

• When entering an operated channel for the first time, be cool and try to get the ‘feel’ of the room and the people in it before you jump right in. If the atmosphere of the room is not what you are looking for, just leave and try another - we have plenty !

• If you have questions, ask away, but in a courteous manner. Most people will respond in like manner, and, if your question is too personal for them, they will politely say so. Asking questions is an excellent way to start conversations. Most people like to welcome and help ‘newbies’. If you speak English, German or Polish, you won’t have any problems finding help. However, all European languages are used in our channels. Avoid question like “What is XXX worth”…

• Show RESPECT to other people. The age varies from 16 to 70 in our channels! If someone disrespects you ignore them, rather than to argue with them and spoil the enjoyment of the other people who may be present. Avoid the use of language or attitudes which may be offensive to others.

• Remember that you are not anonymous and that your chat is not private. Conduct yourself as if what you say is being recorded, because it is.

• Don’t use uppercase - most people interpret this as ’shouting’ (which is annoying).

• If someone arrives who is being offensive, ignore that person. Do not post to him/her and do not mention him/her in your posts to others, except to advise them to ignore him/her. An offensive person quickly tires of talking to him/her self and leaves. Report any such incident immediately to an admin or op so that appropriate action can be taken.

• kiedy po raz pierwszy wchodzisz na kanał bądź spokojny spróbuj poczuć “klimat” kanału i poznać ludzi w nim obecnych zanim zaczniesz na nim grać. Jeśli atmosfera ci nie odpowiada po prostu wyjdź i spróbuj innego - mamy ich wiele!
• jeśli masz pytania zadaj je ale w kulturalny sposób. Większość ludzi odpowie w podobnym tonie a jeśli twoje pytanie jest dla nich zbyt osobiste grzecznie ci to zaznaczą. Zadawanie pytań to świetny sposób na rozpoczęcie konwersacji. Większość ludzi lubi witać i pomagać ‘nowym’. Jeśli mówisz po angielsku, niemiecku czy też po polsku nie będziesz miał problemów ze znalezieniem pomocy. Jednakże, wszystkie europejskie języki są używane na naszych kanałach. Unikaj pytań w stylu ‘Ile xxx jest warte’
• okazuj SZACUNEK innym ludziom. Wiek ludzi na naszych kanałach waha się między 16 a 70! Jeśli ktoś Cię znieważa raczej go zignoruj zamiast wdawać się w kłótnie i psuć zabawę innym. Unikaj postawy i słów które mogą być obraźliwe dla innych.
• Pamiętaj, że nie jesteś anonimowy i że twoja rozmowa nie jest prywatna. Podchodź do tego tak jakby twoja rozmowa była nagrywana, ponieważ jest
• Nie pisz wielkimi literami - większość ludzi interpretuje to jako krzyczenie (co jest denerwujące)
• Jeśli pojawi się ktoś napastliwy zignoruj go. Nie pisz do niego/niej ani nie wspominaj jego/jej w swojej konwersacji z innymi chyba żeby poradzić im ignorowanie tej osoby. Napastliwa osoba szybko męczy się mówieniem do (samej) siebie i wychodzi. Natychmiast zgłoś taki incydent opowiedz bądź adminowi tak żebyśmy mogli podjąć odpowiednie kroki
