Warning ! Again Scammer attack in Olybaal Community

Hello everybody!

as you may heard already, there is a scammer arround in battle.net who fakes account names of well known olybaal users and scams their friends by asking them to lend him items.

He makes account which look like the original but are different somehow. He uses for example a small “L” instead of an “i” and a zero instead of an “O”.

Today he attacked again. Few players loose their stuff. The acc faker whispers a member of the olybaal channel if he may lent him his enigma or griffon or cta or whatever to “make str bug” or “to check dmg” or something.

So, be aware, careful and always make sure who you give your stuff !

Jepp-he try it on me too.But i Sherlocked him (sq his fake acc at game)and saw it is acc: haruspici (styed @ olybaal)Look @ my Forum Topic.This is his main Acc-with this acc he join Olychannels and Try to scamm other ppl from there(he listen our talks and know then who is who)Iam wondering that no Mod of u Shitlistet him allready-bcuz my Topic are from Yesterday…….now more ppl are getting Scammed wtf…….

we can do nothing.
we can only warning ppls. he dont use olychannel, cuz of security. try fake your acc and join op olybaal. bot will send message on chann [example ] : Warning naap[d00wn] fakes acc naap[doown].
now ppls shoukd be carful and make sure about wispers account.

U can do much.
Shitlist his Main acc(with lvl 93pala)
With this acc he stay @Channel and look who is online and who talks with who.Without that information he dont get this info.
He stayed with me at Olybaal-he saw what i talked with tasi.Then he know our rl names and createt a fake acc from Tasi to whsp me.I joined that game-sq him and return to Channel.I sq his ip ingame and sow his main acc on channel are sq too.Pwned

Note that we have a warning system enabled at olybaal. If someone joins the channel with a fake account you receive a warning (!) and he is banned for 30min.

Yes he’s back.

Also I saw Arek94 is back on the forum, (with 0 posts AFAIK,) which I suspect it’s Orbis_Ice.

Please ipban (ONLY AFTER verifying!) Arek94 / country_ etc on forum and site, please also .shitlist AND .ipban / .exile some of the fake account scammers on Olybaal just in case.

This way maybe you could also have the opportunity to see more faked acc. This combined with the ban function (which, BTW, is not, and can not be perfect) would help much IMO.

Note: BESIDE what Eury said (scammer’s false request to lend him items to “test str bug” / “test dmg” ) I also him in a screen shot saying something re: checking level requirement bug for items he asks to “lend”. This way he also steals, so beware of that too. And yes, he even faked my account too, before.
