op olybaal

Hello everybody!

as you may heard already, there is a scammer arround in battle.net who fakes account names of well known olybaal users and scams their friends by asking them to lend him items.

He makes account which look like the original but are different somehow. He uses for example a small “L” instead of an “i” and a zero instead of an “O”.

Today he attacked again. Few players loose their stuff. The acc faker whispers a member of the olybaal channel if he may lent him his enigma or griffon or cta or whatever to “make str bug” or “to check dmg” or something.

So, be aware, careful and always make sure who you give your stuff !

The next three days the bots and the site will probably be offline during 0:00-6:00 in the morning.

Many people got scammed by this guy in the last few days and it often happened like that: the acc faker whispers a member of the olybaal channel if he may lent him his enigma or griffon or cta or whatever to “make str bug” or “to check dmg” or something.
The victims often didnt realize that it wasn’t the real account of the guy who they were expecting to talk with. So the acc faker was able to scam several people of our community like that.

He faked the following accounts:

*rybacie
*DoH-Dome
*tur_piechy
*meonlyl2
*lodoly
*kbf-keldorn
*cdp_morgul

and many more as i suspect…

So, be aware that someone is arround and faking accounts and trying to scam other people. Be careful if someone whisps you and check twice if it’s the real account which he is whispering with.

The scammer was caught (by some detective work of me , more about that here: http://d2.xml-fatal.net/smf/index.php?topic=1507.0 ), it is *Orbis_IcE, who uses following charnames on his main account:

Moskau_IcE
eXt-Arek
Daytona_IcE
Ama_IcE
Joahim

He also played on the accounts *Miki900[BoD] and *Prisonbreak (if i recall correctly).
Last ladder he played on account *sylvec, i remember him as one who made trouble last ladder already…

He is now webbanned with all his accounts and Ip-banned on the olybaal website, but it seems as if he still dont stop with his bad actions. He also scammed people today after he was webbanned already.

So, i hope you are all warned know, dont make him able to scam you and be careful with lending items to others.

I am sorry to announce this: LowBaal will be offline for one or two weeks, starting in the beginning of the next week. The positive point is that it is also the beginning of the new ladder.

The reason is simple: I have to go to the beautiful town of Paris for holidays … no … for passing an exam. So more than one week without a PC … It will be hard for me

Normally, LowBaal’s bot will come back at the beginning of July. I’m really sorry for this
